Alec's Pockets

Ever since Alec started wearing pants we have found all kinds of things in the pockets. He is now 12 and the pocket booty keeps showing up. Here's what we found in his pockets recently:

1. Pepper packets from In-N-Out:



2. A gyroscope part?



3. Two teeth, presumably his.

On my way back from Bangalore working for Cisco I had a stopover in Seoul. I bought these sundries based solely on the look of the packages.

Ice, Powder & Sierra Cement

Three days this past week in Tahoe at Alpine Meadows were as different as winter can be. Wednesday was corduroy ice covered by a few inches of snow and mild temps. Thursday saw winter visit for a day with almost a foot of fresh powder [epic] and Friday was a classic spring day with fun at the summit and the sticky at the bottom. [Put the skis on for Friday.] Kael and Alec's conversion from skis to the board looks complete:
